VATS Annual Report (2024)

Till December 31, 2024, VATS has a total of 50 Editorial Board Members from 9 countries. 43 articles have been published last year with 44% Review Article, 23% Case Report, 16% Surgical Technique, 10% Original Article and 7% Editorial VSports注册入口. Corresponding authors came from 9 countries, with mostly from USA and Japan. According to the Google Analytics, VATS drew the attention of 38,652 visitors and accumulated 98,885 pageviews in the past year, with the majority coming from the USA, followed by UK, India, China, Canada and Australia. Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access electronic journal reporting the cutting-edge findings and application of video-assisted thoracic surgery, including but not limited to biopsy, esophagus surgery (esophagectomy), hiatal hernia repair, lung surgery, procedures to remove excess fluid or air from the area around the lungs, surgery to relieve excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), surgery to relieve gastroesophageal reflux disease, thymus gland removal surgery (thymectomy). The techniques of VATS include but are not be limited to multiportal VATS, uniportal VATS, robotic VATS and tubeless VATS.
