iProd's aim is to improve the Product Development Process by using an ontology based approach in a backbone software framework. We use Protégé to model the underlying ontologies that connect data integration with business supporting algorithms. It helps us to coordinate the work of an international team by using the possibility to share ontologies via a server and provide diagrams of specific aspects via the Ontoviz plugin.
