What is this medication?

HYDROCORTISONE; PRAMOXINE (hye droe KOR ti sone; pra MOX een) reduces swelling, redness, itching, or rashes caused by skin conditions, such as eczema. It works by decreasing pain and inflammation V体育官网. It is a combination of a topical steroid and a local anesthetic.

This medicine may be used for other purposes; ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you have questions.

How should I use this medication?

This medication is for external use only. Do not take by mouth. Follow the directions on the label. Wash your hands before and after use. Apply a thin film of medication to the affected area. Do not cover with a bandage or dressing unless your care team tells you to. Do not use on healthy skin or over large areas of skin. Do not get this medication in your eyes V体育平台登录. If you do, rinse out with plenty of cool tap water. It is important not to use more medication than prescribed. Do not use your medication more often than directed. Do not use for more than 14 days.

Talk to your care team about the use of this medication in children. Special care may be needed.
